Aesthetic or cosmetic treatment is a non-surgical procedure aimed at combating signs of aging, rejuvenating and refreshing the skin. Cosmetological procedures are performed to reshape the structure of the body and change the appearance of a person. Cosmetic surgery can be performed on any area of the head, neck, or body. Aesthetic medicine is a new clinical field that uses minimally invasive cosmetological treatments to improve the appearance of patients. Cosmetic surgery is called selective surgery because it treats areas that are functioning well. Cosmetic surgery is performed by a variety of specialists, including plastic surgeons.
