Craniofacial Surgery

Craniofacial Surgery

Cranio-facial surgery is a surgical department that deals with congenital and acquired malformations of the head, skull, face, neck, jaw, and related structures. Craniofacial surgery is a series of surgeries that affect the skull and face. Most patients have developmental or congenital disorders such as cleft lip and palate, and syndromes that affect the area of   the face around the eyes, ears, or chin. We deal with the correction of skull and face malformations. You can remove the pelvis from the skull and ribs to fill the gaps where the skull and face move. In some cases, the surgeon removes soft tissues and bones from parts of the body to restore head and face symmetry and normal appearance. In other cases, artificial materials such as cheek and jaw implants are used.
